scenedance ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered product imagery and sales video generation platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including: account registration information (name, email, password); product photos, reference videos, and model images you upload; product descriptions, prompts, and metadata you create; AI-generated images, storyboards, voiceover scripts, and videos; project, asset library, and preset configurations; organization and team membership data; subscription and credit purchase records; and basic device information (IP address, browser type, operating system).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our image and video generation services; route your generation requests to the appropriate AI models (text, image, video); manage your projects, asset library, credits, and organization; process payments and prevent fraud; monitor and analyze platform usage to improve quality; and communicate with you about products, services, and updates.
4. Your Uploaded & Generated Content
Product photos, reference videos, descriptions and other materials you upload, as well as AI-generated images, storyboards, scripts and videos you produce, all belong to you. We store this content securely so we can render previews, allow re-editing, and provide your asset library. We do not use your uploaded materials or generated outputs to train AI models.
5. Third-Party AI Providers
To deliver image and video generation, we forward the minimum necessary inputs (your prompts, uploaded reference materials, and selected parameters) to third-party AI providers configured by your administrator — for example, DeepSeek (storyboard breakdown, copywriting), Doubao Seedream / Gemini / DALL·E / Flux / Stability (image generation), Seedance / Veo / HappyHorse (video generation). These providers process the data only to fulfill your request, in accordance with their own privacy terms, and do not retain it for training scenedance models.
6. Data Protection
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Account passwords are hashed; API keys for AI providers are encrypted in our system settings.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: third-party AI providers (only the data required to fulfill a generation request); payment processors for billing; and cloud infrastructure providers that host the platform. All third parties are bound by data processing agreements or equivalent contractual obligations.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, projects, and generated assets; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and content; export your projects, prompts, and generated outputs; manage your organization membership; and opt out of marketing communications.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session, language preference, and authentication state. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookie behavior in your browser settings.
10. Data Retention
We retain your account, projects, and generated content while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. AI request logs are retained for up to 30 days for service quality and abuse prevention.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own — including by AI providers operating in different regions. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "last updated" date. For significant changes we will provide notice by email or in-app notification.
